Taking The Home Office Deduction…

I was going through my email today during my “Sharpen the Saw” (Covey) period where I read my newsletters. I received the my IRS Small Business newsletter and it was discussing the home office deduction on how and when you are eligible to use it.

For once this was an IRS topic that didn’t put me to sleep. One thing they mentioned was the fact that the area that you choose for your office has to be unshared space, i.e. the den. I thought this was worth mentioning and placed a link to their publication that explains this deduction in detail.
