Client Follow-Up
How important is prospective client follow-up? It could mean the difference of earning a new client or NOT. This past week I made some follow-up calls to prospective clients they I submitted RFP requests to and let’s just say it will pay off in dividends.
I had one business owner say I was one of the only VA that has followed up with her and she really appreciated it. She is so busy that getting time to review the long list of RFP’s she received has been challenge which is why she is needing help.
By contacting her placed me on the top of her list because we had an opportunity talk briefly and allowed me to ensure that my RFP had been received. Making this follow-up call also placed my company in front of the prospective client along with my RFP.
Now when she goes to review the list she will remember that we spoke. This does create a better advantage for my company since I have already started the beginning stages of creating a business relationship.
I’ll keep you posted on how it comes out. In a final note, follow-up is important and will set you apart from the rest.
